Menahem Kali – Founder and President of Kali Group

Kali Group was founded in 1970 by Menahem Kali. Kali holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science and has studied for a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Hebrew University. Kali began his career as Head of the Budget Division at the Jerusalem Municipality and over the years became a renowned expert on the subject of pension insurance and has served as a pension insurance consultant to government authorities, public institutions and private companies for over 50 years now.

Among the public offices he held: Chairman of the Forum for Managers of Pension Arrangements, Chairman of the New Pension Funds Association, member of the “Stessel Committee” appointed by the Israeli government to review the pension insurance system, member of the board of trustees of Tel-Hai College – Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Physical Committee and Chairman of the board of Canada Center in Metula (voluntarily on behalf of Magbit Canada) and more.

Menahem Kali is married to Lala, father of three and grandfather of seven. He is an avowed art enthusiast, and works from his art collection adorn the walls of the company’s offices. Beyond his uncompromising professionalism, one of the key values he has inculcated in the company is social involvement and contribution to the community; a value which he takes great care to preserve by having the company’s employees participate in various collaborations.

Since the founding of Kali Group and to this day, Menahem Kali has played an active role in the company’s conduct, and today serves as a board member and president.
